Vacation time is here and we have a good start on the riding season. Unfortunately, the season will go by too fast. A group of us made the Maine State Rally. Great weather and

great fun. We ended up with sixteen people to enjoy the Hot weather and many seafood dinners.

Next event is the New York State Rally, July 8,9,10. There's a group leaving Thursday, if you're interested, be at the Howard Johnson's in Lake George that morning at 9:00 AM. I think we will have a good turnout considering how close Plattsburg is. If anyone wants to help the Plattsburg chapter (if they need help), let me know. I will be calling them before I head up. Word has it there will be plenty of vendors, a DJ on Friday and Saturday, a band Saturday night and plenty of rides and games. Sounds like a good time.

The next time you're at the shop, check out the plaque that the club won for the most represented club at the Sacandaga Fun Run. It was a great day to ride and as far as I could tell, everyone had a great time. Some of us got lost and was escorted by the Sacandaga Police to the fire station where the festivities were held. Imagine the look on everyone's face when they saw that!!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July. Let's wish Linda a happy birthday on July 4th and Patrick on July 14th.

Don't forget the annual ride and picnic August 15 starting at the shop. Keep an eye out for year 2000 literature coming in the beginning of August. Also, Mary and Cindy will be attending the dealer show at the end of July so we will be expect them to be real experts on any new information on the 2000 motorcycles and what new and exciting accessories that Harley will be offering. So get ready and quiz the girls when they get back.

Just a reminder, there are still club shirts available. They're nice polo shirts, cream color, with the Adirondack Chapter logo. Speak with Paula if you're interested

Have you been to McDermott's shop lately to check out the new addition? What a beautiful sight (all Harley shops are).

It's black top heaven!! While you're at the shop, please notice the "activity board". Use this board to keep others informed of upcoming rides or events.

Have you had the chance to check out our web site lately? Dave Guay is doing a fantastic job and he's been getting a great response from people all over the world----Australia for one. Make sure you keep an eye on the bulletin board at McDermott's shop. With a holiday weekend coming up, rallies and fun run's, you want to keep posted.

Gerri Powers is no longer Gerri Powers anymore. The next time you see her, congratulate her and call her Mrs. John Meyers. We wish the both of you the best of luck and with two harley's in your driveway, how can you go wrong!?

Our next monthly meeting is Sunday, July 18th at Jack's Place on Main Street in Corinth. Breakfast at 9:00 and meeting at 10:00. It was voted at last month's meeting to keep having breakfast meetings and then possibly ride afterwards, depending on the weather. One thing you can say about this club---we sure like to eat!! Angus Stevely planned a beautiful ride after last months meeting to Valley Forge and what a beautiful day it was. I'm sure everyone had a great time.
