ADIRONDACK HARLEY OWNERS GROUP

SUMMARY OF NOVEMBER MEETING

The November meeting was held at "The Meeting Place" in Lake George on Nov. 16th.

Our AMA representative, Harvey Collins, will be going to the AMA sanction meeting on Saturday, Dec. 6th. At the meeting Harvey will be renewing the club’s AMA charter and also securing the club’s day for our annual charity run on the AMA calendar of events. This year it will be Sunday, May 17th.

A "blue" baby shower was held for Paula Harrold at Fran Donbeck’s house on Oct. 12th. It was sponsored by the Ladies of Harley. Paula was happy with the gifts she received. Thank you ladies-good job!

The plans for the Holiday party were finalized. The party will be held at "The Meeting Place" in Lake George, Jan. 10th, 1998.

The time is: Cocktail hour from 6:30 to 7:30 PM; Dinner is being served at 7:30. A DJ will play for us from 8 to midnight. Price is $25 per person or $50 per couple. See the enclosed flyer for more details.

The Thanksgiving family will be a family in Hudson Falls. They are 2 grandparents who have custody of their 3 grandchildren; ages 2, 15, and 16. Carol will scope out the situation and see if the club wants to sponsor them as our Christmas family as well.

There is no meeting in December. The next club meeting will be held Sunday, Jan. 18th at Jack’s Place in Corinth. Breakfast at 9:30 and meeting at 10:30.

The 50-50 winner was Carol Casey.

MCDERMOTT’S CORNER

Paula and Tom Harrold would like to thank the ladies of HOG for the great baby shower.

In closing, we would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Till next year....

DIRECTOR’S CORNER

It looks like the snow is here to stay. Unless "El Nino" works it’s magic in the northeast, the riding season might be done.

The holiday party is being held in Lake George this year. Hopefully we will have a great turnout. It’s a good time so please try to attend.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing officers of the club. You made my job a lot easier and the club a success.

The new officer’s terms start at January 1st. Thanks to the new people who volunteered to serve the club for the upcoming year. Along with the people that will remain as officers next year, I’m sure the club will have another successful year.

Have a great holiday season and see you next year.

Joe T.
