Well, if you are here, you must be interested in who we are and what we do, or perhaps, you are just surfing the web and clicked the wrong button. Either way you are going to get the lowdown on the Adirondack Riders here.

Inside scoop

Hello its almost winter around here so we have not been doing a lot of riding.  Our annual banquet is coming up and so is the TD Banknorth parade then we go into the holiday season.  There are no official club meetings in December so if you are interested in joining you can either e-mail us or wait till the first Saturday in January which is the 5th.   We meet at the Wise Chip warehouse at 82 boulevard in Queensbury on the Hudson Falls border at 7:30 in the evening every other Saturday.

 

Just who are we?

  • We are motorcyclists.
  • We are bikers.
  • We are a relatively small group.(50-75 members)
  • We are made of many different sizes and kinds of bikes.
  • We are made of many different sizes and kinds of people.
  • Old, young, big, small, loud, and quiet.
  • We are anyone and everyone.

Club officers
We elect our officers each year. "very democratic"

Meetings, rides, and other such.

Meetings

  • Meetings are always very strict and orderly. HaHaHa!!
  • We meet about two times a month on Saturday nights.
  • Lasting about an hour or so we can pretty much get all the talking out of us, then we can start the meeting. :-)

Rides

  • We ride whenever we can.
  • Sunday mornings or sooner.
  • Mostly in the SUN.
  • Sometimes long sometimes short.
  • We ride in parades.
  • Normally finding food.
  • Overnights and weekends.

Other such

  • Each year we hold a run, the proceeds going to a good cause.
  • We get together in the winter for assorted fun.
  • A banquet in the fall, Founders Day in the winter.
  • Making a float for the Christmas parade makes us proud.

Joining

  • Anyone can join.
  • We ask that you live in the area.
  • You are invited to come to a couple of meetings and a ride or two so you can check us out.
  • We do have a small initial charge and dues each month.
  • We also require that you are or become a member of the AMA within a few months.
