Legislative Report: Larry S and Prospector reported that the Handle Bar Height bill is now law and will be in effect as of November 1st, 2005. The Yield Right of Way bill was also passed.

Crack sealant on the roads is a current issue and they have written a letter to the head of DOT, Mr. Madison, who is also a biker, asking him to investigate whether the proper sealants are being used and how they are being applied.

Larry and Prospector will head back to the legislature later this fall.

Prospector is headed to the Little Rock, AR and the MRF Meeting of the Minds next week.

-The PAC received $216 this month, $106 from Albany/Schenectady HOG. Larry S thanked Larry M for $50 collected at the Tee Memorial Ride.

Old Business:

-Marty Herman will continue contacting "Support our Troops" people to help use the money remaining (see Treasurer’s report above). He is waiting to hear when they will return so we can plan an event, perhaps a BBQ at the Wholly Cow.

New Business:

Jim Mitrowitz, the Off-Road Division Congress person, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2005. Together with the Off-Road division, Denis would like the Road Division to buy a plaque to hang at AMA National to be presented at Congress this year. Larry S made a motion that we contribute $250 of the Grant monies to pay for this and it was passed. Donations may be made to Chenango Fire Company, 86 Castle Creek Rd., Bing, NY 13901.

If you have suggestions for Congress, contact Denis P or Mark C - they are leaving October 6th.
