DISTRICT 3 ROAD DIVISION MEETING OF MAY 15, 2006

Chairman Mark Catlin called the meeting to order at 7:41 p.m.

8 people were in attendance, representing 7 clubs.

Secretary’s Report: was read and accepted.

Legislative Report:

-The Freedom Rally had a fair number of people, but about 1/2 as many as previous years, most likely due to poor weather.

-Mark C reported on the National Coalition of Clubs in TN. The Coalition includes ABATE and "1%er" like the Hells Angels, i.e. all but AMA clubs. The Committee for the Christian Coalition of Unity was also explained and numbers about 55-60 clubs from the ca. 1000 clubs that are part of the overall Coalition. This is the 21st year of the conference and Mark found it well organized and run.

Old Business:

-Patches: Mike Kuban reported via email that the patches are ready.

-John R. reported on the Vietnam Wall escort. The wall will be in Schenentaha Park in Malta. The escort will meet at the Crossgates exit near the Northway between 10 and 11 am and leave promptly at 12 PM on Wednesday, June 7th. Contact John for more info (rkmcny12@spa.net).

New Business:

-Spitzie is having an open house on May 20th.

-A Support the Troops Rally will be held on May 20th at Gavin Park in Wilton from 12-5pm. Contact Cliff Sequin at 587-8010 for more info.

-AMA District 3 Road Division meeting: Monday, June 19th, 7:30pm at the 76 Diner on Rt 9 in Latham.
