DISTRICT 3 ROAD DIVISION MEETING OF JANUARY 15, 2007

Chairman Mark Catlin called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m.

8 people were in attendance, representing 6 clubs (no quorum).

Secretary’s Report: was read and accepted.

Treasurer’s Report (submitted via email):

General fund        $1532.96

Emergency fund   $2953.00

AMA Grant          $650.00

Charity fund        $313.00 

Legislative Report: none.

Old Business:

-Banquet 2007! The Emergency Fund Fundraising Banquet is March 31st, 2007.

We need door prizes and award nominations sent to Larry S.

John Campione was volunteered to make the flyer. Sarah will make up tickets and have them available at the February meeting.

-We will need volunteers to man the AMA truck at Americade in June.

New Business:

-via email, Marty Herman suggested looking into donating ‘Silly String’ to support the troops who use it in Iraq to check doorways for trip wires. A motion was made to donate $100 from the Charity fund toward this endevour.

Due to lack of quorum the motion will be brought to vote at the February meeting.

Good and Welfare: Denis P had surgery in January and is home resting. The secretary will send a get well card.

-The Roamers are hosting a trip to NYC on January 20th. Contact Pat Schlamowitz for more info.

-AM-JAM is hosting a tattoo expo in Liverpool, NY January 19-21. Contact Mark C for more info.

-The Roamers are hosting a Charity Bowling event on February 18th, 11 am at Sportsman Bowl on Crane St. in Schenectady. Contact Brad Barrett for more info (370-3203).

-AMA District 3 Road Division meeting: Monday, February 19th, 7:30 pm at the Corner Well at 698 North Pearl St. Menands (call 427-9355 for directions).
