I regrettably accepted the resignation of our club's secretary, Rosemarie Wilson, on September 18th.  Thanks for the valuable contributions that she made volunteering for the club.  It will be missed.  In the interim, Cheryl O'keefe has volunteered to finish out the rest of the year.  She already got her feet wet at the club meeting on the 20th.  Thanks again to both ladies!!!

        It's that time of the year again.
Nominations for club offices will be held at the October meeting.  If you want to serve the club in any capacity, let someone know and have them nominate you.  Because we are also an AMA chartered club, they require that the primary officers.....

Believe it or not - the holidays are just around the corner.  Pretty soon we will be buying a turkey dinner for our Thanksgiving family, and then Santa will be coming with gifts.  And then the best, our club Christmas party.  It's been voted to keep it in January, after things quiet down from the busy, chaotic holidays.  January 9th is the date to mark on our calendars, so keep it open for a night of fun and laughter.  Our club is always open for suggestions.....

Pot Luck Dinner

George Polunci and Carol Casey would like to invite anyone who is interested in a night of fun, laughter, and good food to their house on October 17 at 5:00.  Just bring a dish that you specialize in and the entertainment will be arranged by Tom McDermott.
I hear he has a great video of his tour across country and this will be a great chance for us to see.

The Next Monthly Meeting

The next board meeting will be held @ McDermott's shop on October 16 at 7:30 and the club meeting will be October 18th @ Carl R's Cafe located off exit 18, 9:30 am breakfast and 10:30 am meeting.

I hate to say it but, the cold weather is upon us and winter will be here before we know it.  It will be quieting down at McDermott's shop so the hours will change just a bit.  Effective immediately, the shop will be closed on Sunday's as well as Monday's.
